My husband had his initial consultation with Dr Wetjen and it was a waste of time. The check-in process took so long. Then we finally met the doctor and that was pointless. I’d say he was barely in the room no longer than 5 minutes. The doctor seemed very rushed and barely answered a few of our questions. My husband couldn’t get his MRI scheduled because the office filled out the wrong information for his MRI order. My first time seeing Dr. Wetjen was horrible! He acted like he didn't even want to be there. He didn't allow me to ask any questions, he just looked at my xray and said I needed to see a pain management doctor and left the room!! He was very unprofessional! I will not go back to see him and I wouldn't recommend to anyone!!
I am puzzled by the reviews I read on Google for Dr Wetjen and his team. I had the exact opposite experience. I decided to write this review only because it is contrary to what others posted In Dealing with spine related nerve pain, I know everyone wants a quick fix and alleviated pain immediately. Pain not only affects how you express yourself but also affects how you interpret others. The staff was extremely rude and treated us like we were seeking pills. We were disrespected and I want everyone to be aware of this kind of behavior. Tammy, the nurse was so rude and talked down to us. I don't recommend going to this doctor.
He was unprofessional and rude to my nurse after I went through a very painful infusion. Lutheran Neuro has been a mess for awhile and it is only getting worse. Dr Phuong is best neurosurgeon they have however his staff is horrible.
