BEWARE! If you have to call to reschedule an appointment, be prepared for the nasty receptionist to call your emergency contact to complain about you, as well as threaten to charge you hundreds. The office staff here is an absolute joke; its beyond me that they are even employed in this field. You come here for help, and get threatened in return.
The staff were so nice and understanding! Dr Tullo is a funny, kind, empathetic doctor who listen and hears you. He is the only specialist for dysautonomia in NJ so make sure you are on time!
I drove a couple hours to see Dr. Tullo since I read that he specialized in POTS ...and he did not disappoint! He was extremely kind and really took his time to sit down with me and provide easy to understand explanations and answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed at any point and he spent just about an hour with me. He was very knowledgeable, and I would defiantly recommend him. His assistant was very nice as well!
I first scheduled an appointment in April 2025 for early September 2025. While that was a long lead time for an initial consultation, I figured it was best to secure a spot. On September 17, 2025, I received a call regarding my upcoming appointment on September 22. I was informed that the doctor would not be available, which I completely understand. Dr. Tullo is truly the best doctor I've seen (and I've seen a lot!) He has absolutely wonderful bedside manner and takes time to listen to his patients. He picked up on symptoms that were dismissed or missed by other doctors for years, made sure I had the right tests done, and took the time to help me get an accurate diagnosis. Despite being a cardiologist, he looked at the whole body and all symptoms in totality which is not very common in my experience when seeing a specialist.
