Dr. Mathenia and his team are truly incredible. He’s one of the most attentive and thorough neurologists I’ve ever met. I didn’t care for the first one I saw at elmhurst. He listens closely to every concern, never brushes off your symptoms, tries literally everything possible to help manage migraines, and if you’re still struggling with chronic migraines, he’ll go the extra step to refer you to a headache clinic — not just mask the pain or dismiss your pain. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Doctors office. Can't rate him on his care because they refused to see me due to me not signing a consent form to share my information. Been to Endeavor Health on 4 other occasions seeing different Doctors and having test. Once I explained at other offices my information had been stolen in the past they had no problem skipping it and seeing me.
I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Mathenia about my issues and didn't feel rushed at my first appt. I also appreciated the different treatment options were discussed in detail. I highly recommend him.
Very happy with this doctor and the staff. Always on time for your appointments, and you never feel rushed during your appointment. Dr Mathenia is a caring doctor who takes the time to listen and looks at the whole picture to figure out what is wrong. he works with you , the patient, as a team to come up with a plan for diagnostics and treatment.
