Dr. Nicholas Massen is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. His personality is one like another I have never met. He listens, thoroughly explains his plan and puts his plan into action. With a miraculous outcome. No need to ever look for another shoulder surgeon.
Dr. Nicholas Maassen (University of Chicago) is a top notch Orthopedic Specialist. I’ve been his patient for the past 2-3 years and I can honestly say he is the best! He listens, thoroughly explains my treatment options and together we decide the best treatment plan for me. He’s both knowledgeable and respectful. He genuinely cares for his patients.
I have not received mistreatment or blatant disrespect from any other medical professional until my 2 recent appointments with Dr. Maassen. The staff was kind. Dr. Maassen was very rude & smug. I will not go back to the UChicago Medicine Duchossios Center.
This was such an awful experience. I drove well over an hour for this appointment. I thought it would be worth it since the University of Chicago is a well respected university. I waited to see the doctor for 3 hours. He comes in the office and says I have to leave and I have to re schedule a new appointment. I asked why and he said needs to pick up his daughter from school.
