I have not received mistreatment or blatant disrespect from any other medical professional until my 2 recent appointments with Dr. Maassen. The staff was kind. Dr. Maassen was very rude & smug. I will not go back to the UChicago Medicine Duchossios Center.
This was such an awful experience. I drove well over an hour for this appointment. I thought it would be worth it since the University of Chicago is a well respected university. I waited to see the doctor for 3 hours. He comes in the office and says I have to leave and I have to re schedule a new appointment. I asked why and he said needs to pick up his daughter from school.
