He took on a challenging case, my misaligned eye operation was made more difficult by too many botulinum procedures performed by a previous ophthalmologist so my eye muscles were very weak and compromised. A review of the visit notes revealed (surprisingly) that Dr Volpe actually made up “facts” regarding my surgical history stating that I had a particular surgery (usually performed for acute glaucoma) that I never had. I told him what produced the physical damage to the eye but he apparently refused to accept my answer, which is fact. Rather, he fictitiously noted in my record that I had a surgical procedure I did not have.
