Baton Rouge General is a wonderful hospital with caring, professional and genuine staff. I have both visited and been a patient in other hospitals, but none have compared to the Top Notch treatment I received at BRG.
My family still is tortured by his comment "It is horrible to watch someone starve to death. We can put a tube in for comfort". A feeding tube was against the patients wishes (if he had spent any time and asked). He was willing to go against patients wishes to put feeding tube in and send back to the nursing home (of which he is medical director- also the medical director of the hospice she ended up on). A feeding tube is not comfortable only convenient for those who want to continue to make money off of prolonging a poor me... read more
This guy didn't take the time to look at drug interactions and knowing my history. I ended up in hospital for a week because of this. Stay away......I fired the guy....
This is a great doctor. He is very kind and always giving service ot others.
