Can't seem to be able to come up with the title of our car so that we can get it registered in our new state. It has been 3 weeks since we first requested the car title. And now we are running into DMV deadlines in 2 separate States. I have notified both DMV's that the ball is in Nicholas Financials court and neither of them are happy about the delay either.
Business response:
It is important for the cusotmer to understand that in their state, North Carolina, titles are electronic so we as a lender don't physcially hold the title. Once requested, we sent a request to have the title printed. Once done the title is then mailed to our location and from there we would then forward it on to the cusstomer. This does cause a long delay that we can't avoid when one needs a phsiycal paper title.
Nicholas Financial is a great option to be able to have. Growing up I made bad choices when it came to budgeting my money. Let's face it the interests are high yes, but guess what I put my big boy pants on and paid my bill every month. Never had an issue with Nicholas Financial. Why should the company give low rates to high risk customers THEY SHOULDN'T!!
If you're reading this I want this company out of business. This company is a JOKE! They charged my car off and then wake up the day before thanksgiving and it's gone. I pray that this company goes belly up and fast! They DO NOT care about their customers and rude as can be to everyone and hang up on you. I pray someone can get this company to shut its door for good!
Business response:
As with most lenders, accounts are charged off once they become 120 days past due, however, that doesn't mean that a customer doesn't still owe the lender the money that was borrowered.
the service sucks. this place charges 24.9 APR for cars what a big rip off. I hope karma come back on the company. never again on this green earth
The lady Michelle who works at the Kernersville location in North Carolina is rude and disrespectful. She made my experience with this company the straw that broke the camels back. I've never had a employee yell at me the customer in such a way. She made several personal derogatory remarks about me that were unnecessary and unprofessional. Please don't do business with Michelle. She should lose her job for the way she spoke to me. But then she would be broke like she said I was. That just wouldn't be right!
Your customer service is garbage. Your employees swear at their clients on phone calls. They refuse to work with people who have fallen on hard times. They make constant threats of actions they're going to take of you are even just a couple days late. Their deferment plans are complete ********. And they're just straight out rude. They harass your family and friends over and over if they can't reach who they're trying to get a hold of, whether you ask them to stop or not. I was just a reference for someone and have received ... read more
This company is pure trash. I wouldn't advise anyone to get a loan through them. I purchased my vehicle thinking that my credit building process would be pleasing. I found out that they were not reporting like I was told. After they corrected the issue and did report all of my on time months. They removed themselves from my credit and my credit score dropped 80 points. They corporate employee told me that once they put it back which was a accident on they're part, that she couldn't guarantee that I would get my credit score ... read more
Business response:
Since the writing of her complaint, we have worked with the customer and corrected the issue.
i have had a difficult time the last couple of months paying the car due to health reasons they dont seem to care about privacy they will call everyone that you put as a reference and tell them your business they have no clue who they are speaking with but they do make sure that everyone knows your private information i dont feel that my social is safe in this company
Business response:
Nicholas Financial strives to work with our cusotmers. At the time of account creation we ask for a list fo references which we can use to find new contact information if we are unable to reach our customer. Third party information is never given out and the references are called if the customer isn't keeping in touch with us and is not returning our calls.
I purchased a loan through NF and was told I had to purchase an extended warranty through GWC Warranty because of high mileage. Ok. Believing this was a legitimate rule, I went ahead and purchased it. Well, my car was stolen and totaled out through my insurance and balance has been paid in full. When NF assumed I was going to finance with them again, I was told by NF customer service rep(Kelly, who has been quite rude) and the car dealer (******************) as part of my warranty contract, because my car was totaled, I woul... read more
Business response:
Nicholas Financial does not require any person to purchase a warranty. The dealers from whom we purchase the retail installment contracts actuall create and close the contracts which we purchase. We have contacted ****************** and confirmed with them that they are not requiring the purchase of a warranty.
