Date of surgery 2/28/25. There's not another neurosurgeon in Ohio that could have accomplished the surgery Dr. Bambakidis skillfully performed with zero serious side effects. I am eternally grateful for him, his staff, & the wonderful care in all aspects I received from University Hospital.
Dismissed me and my concerns with my third brain tumor. Had a impatient attitude and felt like I was waiting his time. Then he asked why I wasn't seeing a different doctor instead of him. Very unprofessional and obnoxious. 100% would not give him a 1 star.
Dr. Bambakidis seemed great. Told me everything I wanted to hear. Unfortunately I chose the wrong surgeon. I had 5 strokes in surgery. Sure, there’s a 1-1.9 % chance of having 1…not 5. And that’s a very small chance. Full disclosure I had a CVM that Hemmoraged…went to see Bambakitas. Said no problem looks simple to do…after seeing my scans. Set a date for surgery.
