This ice machine was a lifesaver after my hip surgery. Instead of looking for ice packs and making sure they were cold enough to use, you simply put the band around you and set the timer and how cold you want it and which compression you select and it works on its own. My first night home, I kept it on all night so it iced me every 20 minutes! Loved it!
Used this machine after a knee replacement. I cannot endorse this enough! It is a single package. you do not need to add-water, ice or monitor anything. Strap the cold pack on and push the button. It even has cycles that you can program for timing, temperature and pressure. Made the recovery from the operation faster and easier!
Nice machine is so easy to use. No getting bags of ice . The easy control panel lets you set your own degree of pressure and cold . The dim button is a good idea so that the screen isn't too bright. I have used it on both knees and both hips .
I am renting a cold compression device to aid my recovery from total knee replacement surgery. The device itself is very easy to operate, making its frequent use easy.
I have tried other ice machines, and the NICE machine are the best. From the choice of cycles, to the ease of use NICE machines are the only brand I will ever use. Also, the service was excellent.
