After pouring over $15k into this system and trying two of their installers, I ripped it all out and threw it away. When I contacted NICE directly for support, took several times before anyone even responded. Useless and they do not take any responsibility for their dealer network. Also, tech is outdated and not so “smart”, and you cannot do anything yourself, tied to the installers. Do your research!
Nice North America is a manufacturer of high quality security and home automation products... The company mostly sells their brands to valued distribution partners, reputable integrators and installers- So their "customer service department" is tailored towards those. I've been employed at Nice for 7 years and it's a GREAT company, with amazing products and wonderful people! They don't call it "Nice" for no reason. :-)
I had the most frustrating experience with Nortek / Linear Solutions, and I strongly advise against using their products or services. First off, the customer service was absolutely horrendous. I spoke to two representatives, Rick and Brandon, who were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Brandon hung up on me without any resolution or explanation.
