Dishonest cashiers. – The reason I give this restaurant only 2 stars because they are not honest. The food is good. I like the atmosphere. Most waiter and waitresses are nice, especially Jose. The worst one is the older waiter. I don't know what his name is but he is the oldest there. He acts like he is too good for the job, even he's there for years. yummy Its quite decorative, nice atmosphere and tasty. The seating is a bit crowded but the service and the food compensates for the negativity.
scrumdidliumcious! Ca 8 mon is an excellent place for fish lovers.And not to mention a romantic, and dark atmosphere. One word of caution, preorder the fish because it does take some time to cook. But other than that, its one of the best fish places in Fountain Valley if you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine.
Dirty Dirty VERY Dirty FOOD – Nhu Y...name sounds nice, but gosh, I will never go there again. The setting looked nice when we got there. One waiter seated us nicely and politely. Good food, great parking, lively place! – I've been there many times with friends and family, and this restaurant is, without a doubt, among the top Vietnamese restaurant in the OC area. Their decor is very lively, with running water and colorful lights everywhere....feels like a mini las vegas. Best vietnamese restaurant in Fountain Valley – Nhu Y Ca 8 Mon Restaurant is the popular place for 7 courses of beef or fish. Jose is our great host and he always dropped by to say hi, make sure we got the right orders or enjoy our meal. I luv 7 courses of beef and it's one of my favorite food. Jose always have a friendly smile and can speak different foreign languages.
The Food there is awesome! – My Family and I, we really retreasure Jose soo much because he's a very good host, very friendly and he always has a smile on his face. He always makes sure he takes our orders right...he's the best and a great host! When we go in, we always ask for Jose. He comes around and says " Is everything alright ok? Unique fish presenatation. Great oven-baked catfish. The sauces ... oh la la – My girl friend and I, by recommendation from our friends, finally dined at this establishment.
