Absolutely useless and quite damaging to the person seeking help from them
I intially tried to post this on the NHS website and it was blocked: If you're thinking of getting in touch with VitaMinds because you need help with your mental health then please don't bother. The process will frustrate you and potentially make your situation worse. You basically spend ages filling out surveys and answering questions on the phone they ask you from a script, all geared towards you answering in a specific way so they can email you an action/treatment plan that they can make you feel like you've come up with,... read more
I have been waiting for a mental health referal for more than two years. I was told to call the crisis line as they said there was nothing they could do. Then called to say a mistake had been made and I was now top of the list. Then they called, after I made a complaint, to say I should never have been told that. If I continued with my complaint they would be happy to remove me from their list. Vita Minds.
