NHC provides a 2 week training course for individuals who are seeking their CNA license. I attended the class February 3rd and could not complete the 2 weeks due to how heartbreaking it was to witness how cruel the staff members are. On February 11th I watched staff members force a lady, who could not speak English, out of her bed as the lady cried tears to be left alone. Regarding NHC: I would not recommend NHC for rehabilitation. I have Power of Attorney over my husband. He was transferred to Hendersonville Hospital by ambulance because NHC was afraid he would walk out the door unattended. Doors are left unlocked. When they decided to move him he was wheeled out and put in ambulance within minutes. On arrival at the hospital there were no rooms available.
