My 89 year old mother fell and broke her hip in July, 2024. She had a partial hip replacement and was sent to NHC Farragut to do her rehab. When we got there, as we were getting on the elevator there was a sign and masks stating 2nd floor was COVID positive! This was not disclosed to us as we were going thru the admitting process. Her dressing on her hip was not changed as ordered. Pain meds and ice were prescribed , however they were not given and ice was usually not offered nor refreshed. Everyone, nurses, aids, Therapist’s, and staff have been so kind and polite. I will recommend NHC Farragut to everyone I meet who is looking for the best facility of its kind. NEVER send your loved ones here. They do not care. They will not come even if bed alarms are installed. They will let your loved one die and not even know about it until hours after they have passed then make it look like they tried to save them. This place is awful. You cannot trust them!
If I could give a rating of less than 1 star I would. NHC Cavette Hill Memory Care is not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a facility for their love one. They are woefully understaffed, undertrained and irresponsible. Residents are not treated with care (often left in their own filth and in soiled bedding), the food provided is awful (you often can't even tell what it is), and most of the time it is impossible to locate any staff for assistance.
