A special shout out to Donna on wing D. I went to visit a friend there for rehab. As we were talking, in walks this beautiful soul with a smile so sweet. My friend told me how nice she was to her. She said, in fact, every one she’d encountered from therapy to room cleaning was at least polite if not kind. Thanks for taking care of our dear ones.

After living at a Delmar Gardens (skilled nursing) for over two years we moved my Mom to NHC in St Charles. Our only regret was not finding NHC sooner. The NHC staff are professional, kind, and very caring. My family is grateful for the wonderful care they provide our mother.

We are so thankful for NHC. My mom started in rehab and has now moved into long term care and they have consistently put her needs first and made the transition and now day to day as easy as possible. The Dr is phenomenal, stays on top of everything and understands concerns. Administration is excellent and the residents are happy. Families are always welcome and included. I was in this facility after I broke my left leg February 4, 2024 from losing my balance due to equilibrium problems. Spent 11 days at Mercy hospital on Ballas in St. Louis and had surgery on my broken left leg and tibia and was transferred to NHC nursing home afterwards. Everyone was nice and wonderful but my favorite nurse was Hema. She grows her own vegetable garden and fruit garden and my husband gave her one of our plants and she gave us some of her hot sauce and jelly from her gardens which was amazing.It was like bein... read more
