My Mom was admitted to NHC after being released from the hospital. She was needed therapy (physical and occupational). We were referred to NHC from recommendations received from friends. The building and rooms were nice and clean. There was good interaction with the staff. There were two meetings held with the Social Worker, Therapy Manager, DON, and Food Services to give an initial status and a final outcome. We were not happy with the outcome. Want to thank NHC of North Augusta for being so kind to me, my family and especially my mom during her stay for rehabilitation. All the staff was extremely personable and professional. Special thanks to Deseree (case worker) Holly and Delany (Admn. staff) Candice NP, Dr Waldrop, the young lady in the hair salon, SP, PT, RN, NA food service and environmental staff. Everyone was awesome. Again, thank you all.

I worked as a Social Worker at NHC-North Augusta from roughly March 2020 to June 2021. Initially, I was excited to join the team and begin my career in the field. However, my experience was disappointing. While the facility appears well-organized and professional on the surface, I noticed significant inequities in how patients and staff were treated. NHC's staff has been a huge blessing to my family. They are all so kind, supportive, and helpful in every avenue of getting care. I was constantly communicated with during my mother's stay, and she adored her caretakers. The professionalism at NHC is stellar. My mom has recently moved out and into another care type facility closer to me, but she often mentions missing the NHC staff and especially the food! The space is very clean and comfortable.
