RecommendedBeen there twiced and each time I was treated like a Queen .. We had a crowd at breakfast ,lunch and dinner ..we called me chairman of the Board Not onced did I hear a complaint ..Thanks for your caring and concerned ways ..
I had a knee replacement and stayed here at NHC for 14 days. I would have stayed longer if my insurance would have covered it. Great facility. Great staff. I miss it.
After 8 days, I had to call for intervention to insist they give my husband a bath, and that was after an outbreak of intestinal virus that had soiled his cast. The bedside table was the only thing he could reach. I left a spot on it to see if they ever cleaned it. They did not. He developed a pressure wound so severe it required several months of after care
Management only cares about the money that goes in THEIR bank accounts, and the concern for the residents just is not there!
My husband had to stay there over 4 weeks and we had so many problems from a lot of the staff the so called Doctor how can one treat you if he has never even seen you and the understaffed nurses there was a few good ones, like giving wrong meds being hours late on meds being argumentive even some of the front office and Doctor but then there was those few great ones there that I say thank you and you know who you are
The appearance of the building masks the poor quality of care and nursing expertise.
After spending 3 weeks in rehab for a broken femur and ankle. I can not say enough good things about this facility. The very best physical and occupational therapists that helped me get back on my feet. All the nurse's, Lpn's and Cna's are top notch and professional and compassionate , caring folks. Administrators.front office.transportation, facility , housekeeping and some of the best tasting meals you will enjoy eating at their dining hall. This facility almost killed my father. The therapists were good and the nurses were kind and cna Charlotte was so sweet. But the admin staff was not helpful. Being a kind nurse just doesn't cut it though. They were understaffed on weekends. We had continually asked to have a wound looked at by a doctor . A pa saw him. The wound was leaking, very swollen and they never dressed it. We took him out on a Monday , took him to his physician that afternoon and he was sent straight to the hospital.
