I worked as a subcontractor with this NDIS registered provider and, while they have eventually paid the majority of the $20,000 they owed me, the payment process was unacceptably slow and accompanied by frequent delays and excuses. I was employed by this disability service provider and unfortunately experienced highly unprofessional conduct from the owner. During my time there, the owner made untrue, degrading and defamatory comments about me, which caused a significant amount of emotional distress especially during such an extremely difficult period in my life. Working in the disability sector requires compassion, integrity, and respect—values that were not upheld in my experience.
