We visited Dr. NGO's office today with my 5 year old grandson. The secretary was fantastic. Very caring and friendly. We were seen on time .....the office was decorated nicely and was clean. Dr. Ngo was was very personable and was wonderful with my grandson. He is a very busy doctor but spent the time examining...explaining and gave us his very knowledgeable opinion. Read the reviews prior to going for my daughters appointment and was kinda scared, but honestly it went great! We refered by our Doctor here in Sudbury after my 5 year old had constant ear infections and noticeable trouble hearing. We had a hearing test in Sudbury and was referred to an ENT with a 3 year wait, so I asked for a referral down south as we didn't mind the travel. Dr. Ngo examined my daughter and was so nice and caring with her! Referred for surgery in a couple months. Glad I didn't listen to the reviews :)
The worst medical appointment I have experienced and this is coming from someone who has worked in Healthcare for 17 years. I took my 5 year old son, Dr. Ngo didn't even exam his tonsils properly and told me he didn't have enlarged tonsils. After he used a tongue depressor he then said yes, his tonsils are enlarged. He was very condescending, telling me my son was fat and even if he took out his tonsils he would still snore. I saw Dr Kno today and was apprehensive because of the reviews. All was well. He asked questions, let me know he was looking at my throat with a camera, told me how to breathe through it. It did not hurt. He told me his findings and I felt very assured. My appointment was quick and easy.
Before visiting Dr. Ngo I read up on his reviews and found a lot of negative ones. I was disappointed to hear what the public had to say about him and I didn’t want to believe them but unfortunately they were all true. Upon my appointment with him he was dismissive of my symptoms, lacked bedside manner and talked over me when I tried to explain him my symptoms.
