Actually 1 star is too high. Used to be able to call broker now goes to call centre. 100% useless. Been now waiting 3days for call back. Sent my name in multiple times and phone repeatedly. Gladly going elsewhere. NFP is useless.
When and if you can actually get someone on the phone, they're good. More times than not it is incredibly frustrating to reach anyone when you need them. Wouldn't recommend
The purpose of having a broker is so that you’re not on hold for 45 minutes or can only reach a person through a chat bot. To get through here you have to listen to a 1960’s Health Canada type announcement that goes on for 5 minutes about privacy, liability and personal information with your staying on the line as a consent to even more stuff which frankly at this point I hung up. Back to TD Direct.
The young lady who I finally got to speak to ( Sonia Lemus ) was absolutely helpful and lovely. Waiting on the phone for over 11/2 hours without a call back option when an agent was available is unacceptable in this day and age. Hearing about a hundred times how your company puts people first was annoying to say the least.
