Finish was poor quality, trims not straight, work not complete to code, structure was not reinstated to it's original standard. Never showed up on time, always chasing to find out when he was going to arrive. Now I have to get a builder/ carpenter in to un do the 'work' done and rebuild so it is structurally sound and it is going to cost more money. Absolute nightmare!!!
Had a previous carpenter leave me in the lurch and got fed up with false promises and no shows! I got recommended Nick through a friend and first of all he turned up, on time yay! He finshed off and corrected the work the other guy was supposed to do. I have his number now and will be using him for my future work.
Nick fitted my kitchen, he organised the plumbers and electricians with no extra charge, he goes out of his way to help and push the job on his price was very reasonale
Sub standard chippy, built a porch roof and with some rain the water started leaking and water built up in ceiling. His finishes were below standard with sealants missing around wet areas/joinery and putty not sanded down. Nick also lied about invoices from the plumber which I queried him about it and he admitted to overcharging and agreed to repay us which he never did. Dishonest, unreliable. Would not recommend.
