I also had a similar experience being completely dismissed. My doctor referred me for a neuropsych eval post accident years later. I'm being told sexist ageist things about perimenopause causing memory problems. I was not perimenopausal at the time of my accident. She told me my injuries were minor because I don't have blood in my brain and because I'm not going to the hospital regularly. Do not use this place for any services. The staff are incredibly mean. I went to get a neuropsych exam and they had me do therapy instead. Then they cancelled the therapy and said I couldn't do the neuropsych exam because I had done the therapy already. I waited 5 months for that appointment. They did not care and were completely unhelpful. The therapy was terrible too. It's the type of therapy where the therapist does not help at all and only asks "And how do you feel about that?" and then they collect their pay. This place... read more

My experience has been largely positive, transparent, and effective. I've worked with over 5 therapists in the last 10 years or so. This is the best experience I've had, by a pretty significant margin. I'm grateful to have found such an excellent fit, such an adept provider.

Wortman, the owner, bedside manner needs a lot of work. They had not looked at my intake or referral paperwork, interrupted me, and was dismissive and patronizing. They wrote off something I was seeking help with that had already been diagnosed by many other medical professionals.
