Was happy to find a podiatrist with great reviews that was so close to my home and on the United Healthcare website in-network provider list. When I booked my appt I told the scheduler that I had a POS plan and I gave her my card info. I booked this appt about 2 weeks out so they had plenty of time to verify my coverage ahead of the appt. Clearly they didn’t bc they handed my card back to me and said they wouldn’t see me. They weren’t in the least bit apologetic for not verifying coverage ahead of time.
