Our 20 year-old boat came with a NextGen 3.5 KW generator with thousands of hours on it and no compression. NextGen provided support and we shipped the unit back to Florida. Unfortunately it wasn't economical to fix a 20+ year old unit with thousands of hours on it. We bought a new NextGen and it was promptly shipped to us. We have an older NextGen 5.5kw genny that needed a replacement electric motor. Ken is fabulous - from start to finish - and got one down to us in record time. He is very knowledgable, extremely helpful during the installation process and the unit arrived very well protected and with all the necessary items. He provided awesome technical support and with his help, we are back to enjoying A/C in the boat cabin solely powered by the generator! Thanks again Ken! ++++++++
In today’s business culture it’s pretty easy to get a company to sell you a product. After that, it’s challenging to find a company that will follow through with their tech-support and customer service. Had my 5.5kw diesel generator rebuilt by Nex Gen.. What a great job they did.. I called them several times for troubleshooting and they always had an answer for my problem.. If I ever buy a new generator it will be a Next Gen. Best service you can get and I have had several other gen sets that did not have good service.. I won't mention their names, but you know who you are.
