STAY AWAY!!! We fell for the trap of 15% savings. That never happened. Even with the cost of electricity increasing throughout the country, our bill should have at least stayed the same as prior. Actually, our bills increased over time without using more energy. We ended up paying much more than we did with CMP. I agree with other reviewers that they're just scammers! Stay away!!! Due to increasingly high bills, I cancelled the service in November 2025 (it is now mid January 2026) and was just told over the phone that I will be receiving bills for at least another 3 months! Their system of billing is very confusing. I wanted to support solar but feels like I am just lining someone else's pockets. Will just stick with my regular utility company.
My electric bill has doubled with Nexamp. I have told them to cancel my account if they don't cancel it I will report them to the New York State attorney general's office.
I was called on christmas eve while I was out shopping. My preferred name was listed but they decided to use my deadname with enthesis to insult me the entire call. They also informed me they did it on purpose. I was not even set up for payment with the company. The person who called was absolutely vile and in no way acceptable for a customer service representative. I understand stress during work, but he called me. Canceled in August. They said they'll cancel in 90 days. Just got another bill. Called and they said I'll get another bill in January. Scam artists. I do not recommend! Avoid them at all cost. They were billing me over $400 a month. That's why I canceled. They suck!!!!
