Dr. Georgiou is very unwelcoming and rude! He treated a patient at his office today so disrespectful and made him feel unwanted as a patient and embarrassed. Horrible bedside manner and a bad representation of New York Presbyterian Hospital!
My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM. I arrived early at 12:40 PM, but I didn’t get to see the doctor until 2:30 PM. While the doctor was friendly, the consultation felt extremely rushed — I could barely finish a sentence before being cut off. At one point, the doctor even said, “I have three more patients after you,” which made me feel like I was just being pushed through the system. Staff at this facility is very kind, respectful and professional. My PCP Dr. Roseme just switched to this location and so far the whole staff (front desk, nurses, facility manager) have been very welcoming. Nurse Esther is the kindest nurse I have ever meet, always with a good attitude and making sure I am comfortable, feeling heard and taken care of. This was my first time coming here and I have no complaints. I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk AND I was seen on time for my appointment which was such a shock to me since I’m so used to waiting to see a doctor. No exagerating I sat for 1 minute before they called my name, I was still filling out the new patient intake paperwork which I ended up completed in the exam room!
