My mother arrived at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital around 10:00 AM on 8/10. By approximately 5–6 PM, we were informed that she needed to be transferred to another hospital for urgent specialized care. We understood that the transfer was delayed because we were waiting for a bed. What I do NOT understand or accept is the complete lack of communication that followed. Came here after my wife took a pretty bad spill and messed up her ankle. People saw us coming and brought a wheelchair out to meet her. She was seen quickly, given an X-ray, and put in a walking boot, which saved our weekend in the city. We heard some of what the staff deals with on a daily basis, so more respect that they remain friendly and helpful.

I went to the ER early on a Monday morning due to a swollen face and infection. I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The nurse who did my first intake in the waiting room was very kind and friendly. And all of the staff who helped me once I was inside were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Vraiment un super hôpital ma fille c’est enfoncé une aiguille dans le pied, les docteurs l’ont tout de suite prise en charge ils lui ont retiré l’aiguille Nous étions en vacances je n’oublierai jamais leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme mille mercis à tous
