The perinatal diagnostic unit is a nightmare to get in touch with! Billing department doesn’t provide fees for service. One cannot know what they will be billed, and they bill irrationally high amounts. 🤯
New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital Diagnostic Center offers accurate testing with professional staff. Service is generally smooth, though wait times can vary depending on appointment schedules.
The perinatal diagnostic unit here is chronically understaffed- I always have to wait an insane amount of time. I don’t know why they haven’t figured out how to schedule appropriately over the many months I’ve had to come here. I hate coming here and the experience here makes me so anxious about labor and what the rest of the hospital is like. I can’t recommend based on this experience.
Nurse staff 5/5, all of them very attentive and caring. Doctor 5/5 for Dr. Huang (MFM), very knowledgeable and caring. However, Dr. Fong was the attending MFM 1 day and didn't show up to go through results which is why 1 star is deducted. Another star deducted for the scheduling team - Susan 5/5, Cheryl 0/5. Cheryl is rude and dismissive. Try to speak with Susan to schedule all your appointments.
