My friend went to this ED and had a horrible experience. Shout out to Whitney, RN for holding it down and being her advocate. This ED has a huge issue with communication. My friend is ringing her call bell and no one is answering it for 30+ minutes. She’s in a room with another patient with a potential respiratory infection without the proper standard of precautions necessary leaving my friend vulnerable to infection. I visited the Emergency Department at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center on 05/28/2026 due to significant pain and pregnancy-related concerns. I arrived around 3:00 PM and was discharged around 12:15 AM.
