I would not recommend this clinic. They offered a free retreatment because the original treatment did not obtain the expected outcome in my right eye. They promised (in a written letter and affirmation from the clinic, and signed by Professor Alpins) that my retreatment could be done by any surgeon at New Vision. Dr Alpins has since gone on indefinite medical leave, and while I hope he is okay, the clinic and practice manager are refusing to honour the commitments made. I did a lot of research before choosing a laser eye clinic and reached out to several clinics for assessments. What ultimately made me choose New Vision was how genuinely patient-centred they were. I never felt like I was being sold a procedure or pressured to make a decision. What a fantastic team at Newvision clinic @ east Melbourne. My special mention to Anne who took care of me post PRK surgery. Checked with me if everything was all right & explained everything when I was going through recovery. I can’t recommend this service more highly! Professor Alpins, George, Ann and all the nurses and receptionists have been incredibly professional and kind. After wearing glasses for almost my whole life to now see without them is incredibly life changing. Thank you!
