A great place for live events. They host live theatre (musical and straight plays alike) various bands and cover bands of every style, stand up comics, in addition to movies and private events. Their fancy new screen since the renovation is truly stunning. Definitely worth a visit especially if you like live events at local venues.
I just saw RUNA for the first time last week. I didn’t know anything thing about them but I was fortunate enough to catch that show. They knocked it out of the park. Very impressive. In the past I have been able to see great acts like Susan Werner and Livingston Taylor at Newtown Theater. I am thrilled to have such a great venue only 10 minutes from home. And the upgrades are wonderful.
I saw Disciple of the Garden, great show theater was great. I’m going to check out Guns 4 Roses there next.
Newtown Theatre always puts on excellent events. And RUNA is right at the top of that list. Thank you !
Awesome show!! Discipline of the Garden rocked the stage. Amazing band and lyrics. Closed my eyes and it was Chris Cornell on the stage. They were a big hit with the audience who joined in for some sing-a-longs to their favorite hits. We all left the Newtown Theatre with great energy. Loved the show.
