I have absolutely loved my experience at Newtown Psychotherapy Center. I have never once had issues with billing or insurance firstly. However most importantly, I have never made as much progress in 7 months as I have with Janice Roberts. I have been in counseling nearly 11 years straight and have had a total of 4 therapists in that time. Can not thank Janice or Newtown Psychotherapy enough for the growth, self discovery, and peace I now feel. Haven’t felt this clear or content in years.

If I could give negative stars I would. Everything is peachy keen when you're brand new! Then all the sudden your therapist decides I''m not going to take your insurance" or 'we don't have availability". It took over 2 months for the owner, Mary Ellen Cook, to tell my husband that they did not have availability for my 8-year-old daughter and that they would speak about resources. The phone tag game was weeks long so like kind of impressive for a phone tied honestly. Apparently the secret that needed to be talked to about on ... read more
