Made an appointment for the following week, filled out all their paperwork, then I get a text to confirm my appointment for a day I didn't make an appointment on. I call them, speak with the owner, and is sorry "somehow" my appointment was scheduled for the wrong day. And the original weekly appointment and therapist I was scheduled with, that standing time was given to someone else. I have absolutely loved my experience at Newtown Psychotherapy Center. I have never once had issues with billing or insurance firstly. However most importantly, I have never made as much progress in 7 months as I have with Janice Roberts. I have been in counseling nearly 11 years straight and have had a total of 4 therapists in that time. Can not thank Janice or Newtown Psychotherapy enough for the growth, self discovery, and peace I now feel. Haven’t felt this clear or content in years.

Then all the sudden your therapist decides I''m not going to take your insurance" or 'we don't have availability". It took over 2 months for the owner, Mary Ellen Cook, to tell my husband that they did not have availability for my 8-year-old daughter and that they would speak about resources.
