Like something out of a dystopian video game. Weird and surreal.
The design is wonderful, and it was a lovely walk near the Newtown creek with a natural/industrial design. Between the plants and the water it’s a nice respite from the city but this season there has seemingly been no maintenance as the greenery is overgrown to the point of blocking the paths. I found out the hard way that poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac have infiltrated the walk.
Don't waste your time. Not a lot to see, smells bad. There is a reason this walk is quiet.
A great place for school tours so open students eyes to nature and they loved it. Doing the tour for a few years with school kids and always a great experience. Except for this year. However this year (2024) appalled at the lack of maintenance - trash is picked up - but weeds are taking the place over. "Fragance Garden" is now gone as it path is now taken over be weeds.
