Like something out of a dystopian video game. Weird and surreal.
The design is wonderful, and it was a lovely walk near the Newtown creek with a natural/industrial design. Between the plants and the water it’s a nice respite from the city but this season there has seemingly been no maintenance as the greenery is overgrown to the point of blocking the paths. I found out the hard way that poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac have infiltrated the walk.

Newtown Creek Nature Walk has a 4.3 star rating with 73 reviews.
Newtown Creek Nature Walk is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
