Please beware: there are 3 MRI machines at Newton Wesley. The MRI I had the machine was terrible. The tech called it the dinosaur. I advised her how bad it felt and found out it was 2005 twenty years old. I was told to ask next time for the 2019 Machine its bigger! I had an IV for contrast and the tech decided to ask radiologist and they said it wasn't needed. Why didn't they know that before the put a needle in my arm?
I had an awesome experience today having an MRI. Quick access and thorough introduction to procedure. The nurses were very friendly and efficient. I arrived a little early and was brought right in. The intake was also very efficient and got all of my personal information checked. I had a comfortable seat in the waiting area and brought right in to check on my medical information. Went to Newton Wellesley for my 4 year old daughters x ray. We were walk in. The whole process from check in till finish took 1 hour max. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The radiology techs were amazing! They put my daughter at ease right away and were very patient throughout! Overall had a very pleasant experience!
