Please be careful if you're going to Newton recycling my name is John gatlin February the 9th approximately 12:31 I pulled in with my load to recycle I've been doing business there for a little over 5 years I speak and talk and and smile with everybody approximately 12:32 I'm back in to where I was directed to after having to unload my own scrap metal which is highly unusual the operator stood up and came out there and I just greeted him on the back say hey how you doing!! Heads up everyone!!! The scrapyard is now ONLY PAYING TIN PRICES if it has any rust on it. No more short iron prices for anything rusty!!! Same,of course, goes for long iron! They changed to this around first of April, 2023. Maybe before, I just had not been in a few weeks. Still a great scrapyard with nice, helpful people.
