Dr Newton seems very smart. And he has helped me greatly. He found me microscopic colitis when I kept being told nothing was wrong.But I was really disappointed in a recent follow up appointment when I waited in a room almost a hour to see him. Then he rushed in mentioned my leg I had knee surgery and told me to not take laxatives to take some other stuff and rushed out less than a 5 min visit. Dr. Newton is an excellent doctor. He's very knowledgeable and will not stop until he has figured out the problem and found a solution. His office staff on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. I've had to interact with them 3 times now and of those 3 times, 2 times they've been extremely rude. It's not worth it anymore to see Dr. Newton when you have to work so hard to get past his "gatekeepers". I can not express my gratitude for Dr. Newton and nurse practitioner Alison Bruno enough!! I was basically bedridden in excruciating pain daily before these two came into my life. Dr. Newton has given me options and a treatment plan to help with my chronic pancreatitis. It’s is very evident that he is in the medical field for the right reasons by his compassion and attentive nature, on top of how knowledgeable he clearly he is when he speaks.
