I called Newton Decorative Hardware looking for a part for an Emek lock. The gentleman on the phone said while he couldn’t be sure he had the exact item, he said come on in and he’d find me something that would work. When I got to the shop, the same gentleman found the part I was looking for in a box of spares, handed it to me, and sent me on my way without charging me a cent. Rich was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, he was thorough, patient, thoughtful, and detail oriented. I called the store with what I thought was a fairly straightforward question and Rich took the time to ask more details and point me in the right direction. Quick service even when walking up and asking for something and not ordering online. They have a simple yet great setup for these times.
Have been several times and love this store and the employees who work here! Susan is wonderful, super easy to work with, and has a great eye for hardware! I have also worked with Rich and he offers creative solutions to problems you have - whether it be new construction or retro-fitting old. Mark is an excellent locksmith and was able to key all the locks in my home to one single key in a morning!
