Our chief tax assessor managed a private piece of property for decades owned by a former state senator and it was hidden as county owned on the tax digest. This was covered in the local covington newspaper. And he is still allowed to serve as a tax assessor by the newton county government. When are they going to be made to pay all these back tax back ?
So taxes are due on 20 December and their annex on Salem Road has decided it’s gonna close these last two days before the end of the tax payment now you have to go to usher Street to pay which is really inconvenient for the disabled. I give them they don’t even deserve any stars.
Please get someone to answer the phone rather than menu that leads you to the specific person you need to get the specific information you need, but never responds to your message. Or how about an email portal if no one wants to talk on the phone. An unused phone is a useless phone..
