They will milk you for every penny I had two emergency repairs done here on my Acura. A radiator replacement which cost about $700 and a distributor replacement for $950. They charged MSRP on the parts even though they were available everywhere online for 50-75% of that. They charged $90 for "diagnosis" even though I told them what was wrong. $30 for "shop supplies". $15.00 for "hazardous materials". All this in addition to the labor. Newton Centre Shell is not committed to customer service Went in for a flat tire service, and got another flat tire on the same day. I went to another garage to get it fixed (because they had longer hours) and the technican told me the last repair had missed replacing an old and disintegrating tire cap. (i.e. high probablity of negligence) The owner/manager only refunded $20 for the replacement cap the other garage put on. Great Emergency Car Repair When the battery on my car died in Newton Center, I walked over to the Newton Center Shell station for help. The owner was about to close, but he was willing to get my car started so that I could get home. The next day when my car didn't start, I called the station. They sent someone out to get my car started and take it into the station. That day, they replaced my car battery and fixed my car with no inconvenience to me.
