As a livid parent with this whole district in its entirety. I have been advocating for my 10 year old FOR THE DISTRICT TO PROVIDE TRANSPORT. I LIVE ON A HIGHWAY WITH NO OTHER CHILD THAT WALKS NO WHERE NEAR MY HOUSE. THERE IS NO SIDE WALK NO CROSSING GAURD AND THEY EXPECT MY 10 YEAR OLD WHO IS TERRIFIED TO WALK THE HIGHWAY TO WALK TO SCHOOL. THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO STATE THAT IT IS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THE CHILD TO SCHOOL SAFELY.
