Paul Newsome is a helleva man. my mom and me have fallen on hard times then i car was impounded. Paul gave us a great deal on a rim and even fixed our car for very cheap. Thank you Paul Newsome. God bless you.

I would give this place NO stars if that were an option. On July 25, 2012, I took my vehicle to Newsome's Garage for the transmission to be replaced, not rebuilt. The owner, (John) Paul Newsome, promised it back to me in two days but didn't return it until July 31, 2012, six days later. Everything in my car was in working order when I released it to him except for the transmission. I was very impressed when i went. I was having a problem with my car stalling so i followed someones advice and went to buy a certain part. He asked me what it was doing and said to me that he didnt think it was the part i was asking for. to come back in the morning and let his machanic look at it. Said he didnt want to turn down money but at the same time wasnt going to take my money not thinking it was the part i needed. I was very impressed and have been back several times and recommend them to others.

He first quoted me $35 for an alternator bracket (bear in mind a brand new one, redesigned and strengthened is only $39.95) had me drive down to his junk yard, made me wait 2 hours on him to get it off after I offered to help. Then told me he would get it off the next day and bring it to me. After calling him several times throughout the day to see when he plans on bringing it to me, he calls me at 4:30 P.M. and says he's on his way and doesn't show up until 9:00 P.M.
