This could be the worst company I have ever worked with. I have sent them requested documents multiple times yet they keep asking for the same docs. I have called more than 20 times just to be verified on the account since my mother passed away 2 years ago. I have never dealt with a company like this in my life. No one can provide me with an answer.
My fiancé has this mortgage company. They are terrible. He was injured at work and has a comp case pending. They refused deferment and/or forbearance. They dont do that they claim. Its a shame with the economy the way it is and that so many people are struggling, your mortgage company won't give any assistance. Its a disgrace. They would rather an injured person live on the street!
This was by far the easiest loan process ever and for Seniors this means a lot. Thank you again for making a difficult process very easy.
If you have the option, never use this company. I have requested an out of cycle escrow account review no less than 3 times, and NewRez never completed or responded to my request to correct my escrow account. My escrow payments should be $300 less than what I am paying. Additionally I paid ahead 2 months on my mortgage payments to stay ahead in the event of an emergency, NewRez failed to include those 2 months of interest on my 2025 1098. All payments were posted to my account prior to Jan 1st of 2026.
