Poor customer service people! Like robots! They sent my escrow money back then increased my mortgage..I had it voided and wanted reevaluating! They said no matter what my mortgage was not going to be revaluated ! Then in 10 days they sent another video saying they were sending it again! Now the check is no where to be found and they don't show it voided ! Ridiculous! No help I want my mortgage revaluated and decreased as should be before they keep sending my escrow overage! Beyond not helpful. Because of an error on their website, I ended up making two payments. Couldn’t t cancel one online when I received 2 confirmations…tried calling during Saturday hours but apparently closed for President’s Day before the holiday. By the time I could talk to some on Tuesday, I was told a payment couldn’t be cancelled and I would have to wait 5 days to cancel. If you're buying a condo STAY AWAY from Newrez. Every single year, we get a letter saying they do not have a copy of our condo association's master insurance. Every single year, I then submit a copy of the insurance online. Every single year, they claim they did not receive my submission, so I keep resubmitting until they finally say they've received it. This company literally does everything it can not to talk to you. Even when you have a question that needs a customer service representative you wind up speaking to India or Mexico and they tell you, oh we can’t transfer you to anyone in the United States. Then they couldn’t handle the question so they had to transfer me. Totally ridiculous. It took me 15 minutes to finally get through to someone who could address my concerns. Unacceptable, do better.
