I have not problem with the loan servicing for this company, including the app and general customer service is great. However I tried to apply for a Heloc and the experience was very bad. The employees had really bad follow up - once they could see that I was not a standard W2 employee and was self employed they didn't seem interested in helping me understand anything. The last I heard was that they would forward my K1 to underwriting because underwriting had included an alert they they did not have this - never heard back. ... read more

Newrez has always been very professional and\nGreat to work with
Newrez has been awful. They failed to pay our property tax in time with the escrow account, leaving us with hundreds of dollars in fees. I’ve had multiple occasions where I spent over 30-45 min trying to get ahold of someone and they don’t answer the phone.
