This has got to be the worst Marriott that I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The parking garage makes absolutely no sense. You have to park, come through an entrance on the second floor, which puts you in an empty part of the hotel…you then have to go through a labyrinth just to get back into the main part of the hotel just to get the elevator that will take you to your room.. The front desk staff was quite rude, and many of them had RBF and gave me glares while I used the lobby area. To top it off, without any warning via email or message, my room was given away and was downgraded to a double bed room, even though I’m a single traveler. I then went to the bar/restaurant and was disappointed. A 6.25-dollar beer is outrageous, even for hotel standards. I ordered the truffle fries and found hair in them, which was quite disgusting. This is my second visit to the hotel. It is very beautiful and convenient to alot of eating and shopping areas and the staff is very friendly. However my stay this time is not as pleasant as the first. When we arrived we noticed that the shower/ bath tub was dirty. Also a glass in the room was not clean. When we left back out we stopped to the front desk to ask that the room be cleaned. When we returned from shopping the room was still not cleaned but we settled on cleaning it ourselves. Stay here in room 526. Amazing view. The rooms are a little worn but definitely decent. The staff there were very very nice people. If I make it back down to the area I would not hesitate to stay here again.
