A caring professional with a state-of-the-art approach, Dr. Sekut represents the best of the best when it comes to veterinary care on the Peninsula. Those of us in Newport News, Hampton and surrounding communities should consider ourselves fortunate to have a doctor with this man's level of acumen and expertise available to us. I've taken two dogs and two guinea pigs to him for years. I've never left his office feeling as if my animals have been provided with anything less than top-notch care.

We have taken our dog to the Newport News Animal Hospital for a few months. Recently, our dog got an eye infection, and of course, we could not get an emergency visit, so we had to go to an animal emergency hospital. When we finally got an appointment, the doctor gave the dog four prescriptions with one of them containing 84 pills. Two weeks, we noticed that the eye infection had not cleared up and another 250+ dollars for the vet to tell us that our dog needs to see a specialist.
