The communication and office is terrible. Doctor is ok. But shows no concern for patient
good dr but if they give test do not go there they.there is a valerie there who should QUIT OF BE FIRED she hates her job she is mean to people she yells at u I HAD A STROKE AND HAD LIMITS ON THE TABLE AMOUNG OTHER THINGS AND SHE COULD CARE LESS AND SHE HURT ME i do not want to say anything else because Iam going to take what she did to another level shame on this place to have some one like her on the pay roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a tough time rating my experience with Newport Heart. Part of my experience deserves a four or five star rating, but another would have to be a zero to one star. I was admitted to Hoag after going to the ER on May 10th of this year with bradycardia, an erratic low heart rate. I was seen by Dr. Carey L. O’Bryan at the hospital who scheduled me for a pacemaker and said since I didn’t have a cardiologist he and Newport Heart would be my team. I had a stress test today and did well. I have amazing care by Kristi and Angelina both wonderful individuals. During the test I ran on the treadmill and had an ekg as I have this checkup every 5 years. Desmond Levin is my doctor and is also a wonderful physician and quite personable. Angelina checked me in and got me prepared for the test and was wonderful to chat with. Kristi was the nurse technician who administered the test and was also so pleasant and an amazing person. Dr. Bruss is outstanding. I mean wonderful! However, you will NEVER reach someone on the phone. You always get a voicemail. You can email the medical assistant and get no reply. You can get a call back and they say they will get your call escalated to the Dr., but no one follows up and when you call back again (because duh...no Dr. calls you back and no one helps) you will go through the cycle of insanity again.
