While we are staying, we selected ocean front room they gave us pool view. When we told them that's not ocean view that's pool view they dtarted arguing with us that if u select ocean view this what you get. That's like telling a lie and getting money from customer. Also while staying there the hotel was on fire, from top to bottom one side of the building. Yes they handle it professionally Bd transferred Everyone to a new hotel. But they should refund what they took from us have a feeling never getting it back.
I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. What was supposed to be a simple vacation day turned into one of the most frustrating, manipulative, and heartbreaking experiences I’ve had. The hotel allows Club Travalia (or similar travel clubs) to run their scam presentations right on the 12th floor. Guests are first directed to the 3rd floor, where they are asked for ID, credit card, and proof of address under the pretense of a legitimate raffle prize or vacation offer. Beware of scams inside this hotel. We were lured with a fake raffle and promised a free 7-day trip, only to be trapped in a manipulative “Travalia vacation club” presentation on the 12th floor. They dropped the price from $350 to $50 just to get us to sign, then turned rude and insulting when we refused. The hotel staff know this is happening and still allow it…absolutely disgraceful.
