Newport Market is the best place in town for the best cuts of meat, fresh seafood and great beer. If I'm having a party or a special dinner it is a one stop shop. You walk in to a beautiful floral dept followed by the brightest and freshest fruits and vegetables. You don't get the snobbishness you see at Trader Joes. Employees are accommodating and helpful. I come in on my lunch break often and generally come out with a few fun things to add to my dinner plans. The deli is delicious and has a great variety of grab and go items. I love the sushi with real crab,even in the California rolls. The staff is always so friendly and ready to help. I grew up on Newport Ave. and have enjoyed watching this store evolve into what it is today. Its a little on the spendy side, but youre sure to find lots of things you couldn't get at Safeway or the like, totally worth checking out!

I love the Boars Head selection but why are my favorite brand of grits 12$?

What a horrible joke. Went in for items for New Years Eve dinner and it was our first time in. I was given Gift cards from my Employer for Christmas. The customer service was a joke. They couldn't accept the gift cards and turned two new customers away empty handed. Never going back. High prices and bad customer service. I would rather shop Trader Joes where I've never had a bad issue and when there's been something in question they still take care of the customer.

what a great little hippy, community, market. great selection of everything.... the deli is amazing. You have to try the soups and the sushi.....
Newport market is simply family in the local community. The store is full of surprises in every isle. Yet it has everything I need for everyday living. Employees are top of the line service oriented. Seriously don't know how they could improve. Roger and Lesa Fadness
