Great Dr and Staff – I am impressed with the Newport Animal Hospital facility. The staff is efficient and compassionate and the Vet Dr. John Giannone has a wealth of knowledge. They have a state of the art facility with in-house lab capabilities. I can now get test results back immediately, without waiting. They are great with their followup and the costs are less than what I was paying before. Glad to see a facility with a skilled Dr and staff in the neighborhood, that cares about my animals as much as I do.

Best Vet. Experience I've Ever Had! – You will not regret making an appointment with Dr Giannone! He is extremely professional, experienced, thorough, and empathetic. I took my little Gracie to Dr. Giannone last Saturday morning because of yet another horrible bladder infection. She's had awful bladder infections for the past year and has had no significant relief despite many visits to other vets. BEST VETERINARIAN IN CALIFORNIA..MAYBE US – I can not say enough great things about Dr. Giannone and his professional staff! As a recent dog owner, I was at another vet in town with a large practice, waiting forever in the lobby and being treated as number by the staff. Newport Animal Hospital is the best – My ten year old boxer Max is essentially my son. I am therfore as careful about picking a vet as I am a Doc for myself. As of late I have been very disappointed with my own vet and, given Max was due to have some surgery, was very concerned about where I was going to take him. Cares About Your Pet As Much As You Do – We rescued a small dog from a local shelter, and we had never had a pet before. Naturally, I had a million questions the first time I took her to see Dr. Giannone. He and his team were very patient and attentive. Dr. Giannone is amazing – During a routine walk on Friday May 12th with our dog Cupcake, we noticed that he stopped to try & urinate more often than normal. We watched him for the rest of the walk and noticed that he seemed to really be struggling to urinate every time and only small drops and not a full stream would come out. We took him to our local vet and they took x-rays which revealed that he had at least 5 small stones that showed up in his urinary tract. Amazing Veterinarian and staff, beautiful office, very clean – Dr. Giannoni is the BEST! He was amazing with my 3 month old puppy. He also has the nicest staff. My dog didn't mind going. His office is brand new and the decor is very beautiful. Also he has all digital equipment whcih saves alot of time. I feel safe knowing Dr. Giannone has 30 years expereince. I highly recommend him.
