This wasn’t the best experience. I had Newman and Sons build a deck, install some vinyl railing, redo the screening on my back porch and paint the soffit and siding on my home. The deck was done very well, but the rest was lacking. The vinyl railing was not fully secured and had a lot of scuffs and scratches on it. The screening was done well, but they power washed the ceiling and damaged it further so now I need to address that. Hands down the best painter in the area
Fall of 2025, I contracted with Newman & Sons to paint the exterior of my home. Edgar and his crew did an excellent job and I couldn’t be more pleased. Randy and Bruce, the owners, are great. Audra, their niece, has given me good ideas and input on color. I often have neighbors and even strangers stop me, to tell me how good my house looks. Extremely satisfied. Their white business truck with the business information on the back left cut into my lane and almost side swiped my vehicle. If I didn’t hit the breaks they would have hit me.
I hired this business to paint a wall that I couldn’t paint myself because it was too high. I would not recommend these people for the following reasons: They left several imperfections in the paint. They used very thick nails which: #1 look terrible when inspected closely, #2 broke some pieces of the wood siding, and #3 may allow humidity to enter the wall.
