I didn't even get to see it because it cost too much. They wanted to charge us like we were going swimming at the falls. I did see it from a distance and it looked pretty cool.
Visited with a church group. The original owner's son explained the history of the Castle and answered questions. Then we were released to wander freely. I went up as high as I could in the bell tower and bunk bed tower. Didn't try the torture tower. The main living quarters are finished nicely, but several bedrooms are still undone. With some creativity, this place could be a great locale for events, with camping outdoors for the bulk of participants. I hope they do complete it as planned, in 2026.
Hella chill Pretty cool spot. Took my gf and the kids, had a blast. The mini humans enjoyed their time exploring and taking pictures. It was a warm day but the castle is well built so there was plenty of shade and a nice breeze passing through it at all times It was a lovely saturday for us
We had a lovely experience at Newman’s Castle today. Guide was entertaining, company was pleasant and the food was delicious. Thankful for the experience.
This should be on everyone's bucket list! I highly recommend touring this beautiful gem! I'm Kari Howard and we are taking our parents here for our mom's birthday!!! Imagine this, one man built this whole castle, and took him 18 years!!! That in itself is its own kind of awesomeness!!!! The owners were very informative, extremely kind, and even loved the food!
